Do I go for the chop?

Being a Kardashian-Jenner fan of course I follow all of the clan on Instagram to get a glimpse into their glamorous lives. As soon as I saw Kylie Jenner's new hairdo I asked the question, do I go for the chop? Now I've pretty much had long hair for the past five years and I'll be honest sometimes I think its a security blanket. This year I want to do more things for me and push myself and having my hair cut is a big thing for me but I keep thinking it will grow back, it probably won't even take that long grow again. Right? Alternatively I might have it lightened a little at the ends, I just can't decide.

I have an appointment tomorrow with my hairdresser aka my Auntie Lynda, I'm going to get her thoughts on the chop. But before I do, I'd love to know what you think!

  1. i think you have the face shape for the cut and it would look great on you!
What I always do is ask myself what kind of hair I want for summer, since thats the season where I do the most hair styling-so if you think you want to rock the short/medium length hair for summer then do it!
    haha thats my two-cents!

  2. Do it!
I did it last year, but a much more massive change. From hair to my waist to a pixie cut. I don't regret it at all. And the grow out process isn't as grueling as some people make it out to be. I quite enjoy it.

  3. How nice is her hair!! When i saw she had cut it I had the erge to cut mine too but I don't have the guts haha!
You would suit this length or the blode tips. Both would look lovely on you! I decided on lighter ends when chosing not to cut mine but I dont dare do that either incase I hate it... Haha!

  7. Do it :) you're stunning and have the face to pull it off. I've been thinking the same thing recently. Had my hair cut shorter a few years ago and loved it. But now it's long again and sometimes I think of it as a security thing. If you're having a bad makeup day and can't decide what to wear, you can rely on big glossy locks to take the focus. But I've decided to go for something more edgy to push me out of my comfort zone. Like you say, it will always grow back. I'm sure it'll look beautiful :) xx

  8. In your picture on the right I swear you have the same sort of look as Kylie haha?! So pretty! I have a consultation with my hairdresser tomorrow as well because I want to get my hair cut to probably just above shoulder length and also get ombre haha! I think the thing is with me is that I feel like girls with longer hair are more feminine even though I don't actually think that but somewhere along the line my mind twists it and makes me have that feeling hahah. Go for it, like you said hair does grow back and you could absolutely love it, and if not you'll find a way to work with it! x
